Kevin Robinson unexpectedly passed away on Sunday October 22nd. Kevin had a huge heart and lots of love to spread to his family, his Cape Fear Group Homes staff, and members of the community. Kevin has lived with Cape Fear Group Homes since 2014. During this time, Kevin has thrived. He has loved living with other individuals, building relationships, and gaining more independence.

If you ever met Kevin out and about in Wilmington, the first thing he would want to know was your name. He had a way of building a connection with someone even if he only had a couple minutes of their time. Every person Kevin met was important to him. He made sure he could address you by name before carrying on a conversation. Anyone who worked with or was around Kevin always had a smile on their face.

Even at 58, Kevin was young, energetic, and playful. He loved trains, comic books, and superheroes, just to name a few. He appreciated the little things in life. The smallest of gestures to Kevin meant the world. If you picked up a magazine at the store or even a happy meal toy, he would be grateful. He enjoyed life and was lost sooner than anyone could have anticipated.

Kevin passed without a life insurance policy. This leaves the burden of cost up to his father, sister, and brother. Since he was an active member of the community, we are hoping individuals of the community can give back and donate. We want to provide his family with the financial ability to give Kevin the arrangements he deserves.

The Date for the funeral service is November 4th.  Time tbd.
